Buxted Church of England Primary School

Collective Worship

At Buxted C of E Primary School the children that attend our school are at the heart of everything we do and we strongly believe in offering every child every opportunity to develop into thoughtful, confident and compassionate members of society. In order to achieve this, we must have a reflective school community.

At school, staff and children lead weekly worship. It is a time when we come together to explore our values and take time to reflect upon and live out the worship themes, through a range of resources that include music, drama, singing, reflection and prayer.

Our Rector, the Reverend Pete  Molloy, is actively involved in school life. For major church festivals and key events in our school year, we worship at St Margaret’s the Queen in Buxted Park.

The original parish church, St Margaret the Queen, is located in Buxted Park and was built in 1250. Its dedication is to Saint Margaret of Scotland
